Askos Olive Oil Serving Vessel

Inspired by an ancient Greek askos (vessel for holding liquids) currently exhibited at the Acropolis Museum / Athens. A contemporary approach to the original rounded form of the askos with holes for hanging by a natural leather strap, extruded handles for holding and a natural cork stopper.  

 

The collection consists of olive oil serving vessels partly glazed with food safe glazes.
