Staircase design for a 250sqm family house set over three floors.​

Changing needs of the residents required the separation of the first and second floor of this family house. 

 

A light wood frame structure of 

translucent polycarbonate panels is fitted around the main staircase balustrades at second level, separating the floors while still allowing for light to pass through.
